Practice Enterprise is an online education system in which educational institutions in the field of economics and commercial vocational training have the opportunity to present the connections of business life through a fictitious company.

The aim of the workshop is for the students to get to know all areas of the life of a business and their specific tasks in as much detail as possible. Within the classroom training, they learn secretarial, personnel, purchasing, sales, financial and accounting tasks through activity groups. The system also simulates external actors to present even more accurate and realistic processes, such as banks and wholesalers.

Students participating in the classroom system can acquire knowledge related to company management through the activities of fictitious businesses. The tutoring sessions enable experience-oriented learning, as the students learn business, administration and management tasks during the sessions. They get to know the basic rules of a fictitious company’s business protocol.

During the sessions, their communication and problem-solving skills develop. They can directly apply what they learned in theory classes in practice, so they get an idea of ​​the knowledge and experience gained in theory and practical classes. They recognize connections between individual business areas. They learn responsibility, organizational skills, creativity, and accurate, high-quality work. The aim of the training at the training center is for the students participating in the training to become full-fledged employees after obtaining their professional qualification.

Just like real businesses, practice companies also need an external economic environment: market, bank, tax authorities, etc.

During the simulation of economic processes, a practice company maintains contact with suppliers and customers, performs marketing activities, performs accounting and other registration tasks, sends bank transfers, completes tax returns and tax payments, and makes personnel decisions.

About the company service center

For practicing companies, the company service center provides services that ensure the simulation of the above processes. In addition, as the pedagogical and organizational center of the training companies operating in the country, it ensures the connection with the international network of teaching offices.

The Company Service Centers of each country are brought together by an international organization, EUROPEN, which manages 7,500 practice companies worldwide. With our companies, we can connect to the international center through the Hungarian center, which enables us to maintain contact with foreign student companies and participate in foreign exhibitions.

About the Practice Enterprise exhibition

The Deák school has a long-standing tradition of competitions connected with classroom exhibitions, which, in addition to our school’s teams, are visited by many foreign teams. At the event held in December, the student companies present themselves and offer their products at stands built according to the company’s profile. Practicing companies are evaluated by a jury of renowned professionals, and then ranked according to different categories based on a pre-specified set of criteria. The categories are as follows: best stand, best catalog, best seller, best foreign exhibitor, general 1-2-3. place. Participation in the competition provides students with a great opportunity to exchange experiences and improve their communication skills in both Hungarian and foreign languages.
